**Disclaimer** I've been up for almost 3 days straight so please don't judge my grammar. I'm a bit of an emotional mess.
Hi, I'm Koral. Three weeks ago we found out my lovely french bulldog Kai was pregnant. This was not a planned pregnancy and everything has been rushed. On January 30th she went into labour. The delivery of her first puppy went very smoothly and we had a beautiful baby girl. Her second baby was taking a while to come out, it sadly got stuck and we lost her. This forced me to decide to get her an emergency c-section. Her surgery went great and Kai gave us 7 more beautiful girls and one boy. We got to take them home right away. Sadly, things changed. Several hours later I noticed Kai was breathing heavily and was in distress. I knew something was up and rushed her to emergency. This was one of my biggest fears. I have always been hesitant of putting her on anesthesia due to her breed and the side effects. Unfortunately, she had developed aspiration pneumonia, and had to be put on oxygen and antibiotics. This meant I was going to have to bottle-feed her puppies. Sadly, we lost one on the evening of January 31. I knew something wasn't right so they were rushed and hospitalized on the morning of February first. Sadly during their stay, we lost another baby girl. They're on the road to recovery but we're not in the clear yet.
