Please help bring Poppy home

Hello, my name is Chloe. I'm fundraising for my dog Poppy, who had to be put to sleep in the early hours of Tuesday morning after a short, unexpected illness. Poppy was my greatest love and my best friend in the entire world. She had my whole heart and I am so lost without her.

The emergency vet will only hold her body for a week, so I'm already running out of time.

At only 26 years old, I recently lost my mum, my house and my job so I can't afford her cremation. I'm looking to you for help so I can give my best friend the best send off and to bring her ashes home in a beautiful scatter tube, so that I can scatter some at her favourite nature park and keep some to have some keepsakes made when I can afford them.

I have spoken to two lovely crematoriums, and one has given me the option of paying 50% upfront and 50% on collection of her ashes, and they've kindly said they can hold her ashes until I'm able to pay the remainder. I'm looking to raise the first 50% so I can get her out of the emergency vet and I don't have to worry about losing her altogether when they dispose of her next Tuesday. *edited 16:40 - thanks to the generous donations of all of you lovely people, we have reached over the target amount for the first 50% of Poppy's cremation cost. I have edited the target amount to cover the full cost so I can get my baby home sooner rather than later, but by no means am I expecting more donations. Please, if you can donate anything at all, I would be so grateful. My heart was already broken after losing my mum, and I didn't expect to lose my Poppy dog within 4 weeks as well.
