Please Help Brooke and her Animals

My 78 year old mom and grandmother of our two kids, just became the victim of a crime that targets the elderly. She is unharmed physically, but her savings was wiped out. She has always been a worker and a strong community member. Due to covid, she lost her part time job and has to rely on her fixed income.

She has two rescue dogs and a kitty to take care of. The high cost of living in the city coupled with the pandemic has made this very frightening and stressful for her. I asked her if she wanted a go fund me started for her to try and recoup some of her losses. She was hesitant at first because she has always been super independent . Due to covid, travelling to assist her is incredibly challenging for our family, so we agreed that this might be the best option to help her with basic needs.
