Please Help Camille and Her Children
Donation protected
This is a humble request on behalf of my friend Camille (that's me in red) for financial assistance to help her and her family pay for food, medical expenses, relocation (moving fees, first/last month's rent, security deposit) and other basic expenses after a horrific attack in Evanston, IL. On Friday, March 12., Camille's eldest son, a high school senior, was shot along with his two cousins while sitting on the front stoop of her home, in broad daylight by an unknown assailant. While Camille's son barely survived the vicious shooting with severe injuries, sadly his two beloved cousins did not and were pronounced dead.
My friend Camille is a strong, proud single mom who has worked hard to keep her four children and her niece - the only child of her terminally ill sister whom she adopted this year to keep her out of foster care - safely housed, clothed and cared for this past year of the pandemic, despite being unemployed as a part-time school aide. She's been trying her best to make ends meet and to provide a healthy environment for her children's online education. Currently, while her son is hospital, Camille and her family are in an undisclosed location for their safety. This grieving and traumatized family needs material help ASAP to rebuild their shattered lives. May God bless you for whatever you can contribute - thank you!
