Update 10-21-23

Celadon is still in ICU, in critical condition and still "not out of the woods" yet. But, he has had a good last couple of days. His body has been responding well to the dialysis so they have been able to slowly pull fluids off from his body. They put in a tracheostomy and this has helped us be able to see his facial expressions better. Communication has still been frustrating to both him and us, but hopefully will get easier as time goes on. He still has an infection and is on multiple antibiotics, and receiving blood when needed. The doctors have told us many times that they "expect him not to survive this hospitalization" and "more often than not a person will die from complications with the severity of what he's dealing with". But we also know that God can do miracles and that is what we are praying for!
Thank you ALL for each and every donation to Celadon's family and for ALL of your continued prayers!!
Celadon Green (35) is a master electrician with certifications in several states and a member of the IBEW Local 322. He is a loving father of 6 little girls (ages 12, 10, 8, 6, 5 & 5 months) and a devoted husband to Anna. He loves Christ and is an active member of College Heights Baptist Church. He volunteers helping others with electrical needs, and anything that requires his muscles.
On October 2, 2023, Celadon was life flighted to ICU in UC Health Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland Colorado for severe acute pancreatitis. Since then, he has been put on a ventilator for respiratory distress and is receiving daily dialysis for kidney failure. On October 9, he had surgery to clean out areas of an infection in the abdomen. He is still receiving multiple antibiotics and units of blood. On October 16, he had an emergency surgery for a perforated bowel and will receive another surgery in a day or 2 to further examine damage caused by the pancreatitis.
Celadon is still in critical condition and "not out of the woods". Drs are saying that this is going to be a LONG process. If he pulls through this, they're expecting him to be in the hospital for at least another 4 weeks and long term recovery would take a year.
They are extremely grateful for the many prayers, encouraging words, generous donations, frozen dinners, gift cards, and fun things for the girls that they've already received!
During this time, Anna and their girls have been staying in Loveland at hotels and a VRBO to be close to their husband and Daddy. Since he is unable to provide financially for his family as he previously had been, this fund will help them with expenses while they are supporting him in Loveland and when they are eventually able to come home. This is going to be a long journey and we don't want them to have to worry about the financial burden this will cause.

His parents Lynn & Dennis Green have also been by his side this whole time. If you feel lead to help support them, they're Venmo account is @Lynn-Green-178.
Thank you for your support and continued prayers!
