Please Help Courtney beat Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Courtney the daughter of our dear friends Jeff and Sheri Catalano, and Marc Gessford with his wife Vicki.
Our friend Courtney is fighting the battle of her life against brain cancer.❤️
Courtney is one amazing young lady. Courtney has always had a zest for life. She thoroughly enjoys adventures and the great outdoors. She has a drive that is to say the least admirable.
Read below for the details on what led to the current situation and consider donating if you find it in your heart.
In 2014 at the age of 24 Courtney was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. Over the last 8 and a half years she’s undergone 4 brain surgeries, 27 months of chemotherapy, and 40 sessions of external beam radiation therapy. Courtney has not been able to work in 8 months, after a grand mal seizure in April. Courtney and an entire medical team are all working on Courtney recovering from this.
She’s focusing on her physical and cognitive rehabilitation currently. She’s maintained employment through all prior chemo and radiation treatments but this most recent radiation treatment has left her brain extremely swollen and she struggles with mobility, thinking, and caring for herself. Right now, she’s determined to heal her brain and body so she can live on her own again as well as get back to work and exercise. Please consider donating to her cause – treatment options are very limited and the cognitive therapy school she’s enrolled in (Schurig Center in Marin), doesn’t accept insurance. We hope to raise money for medical bills, transportation, housing, care, bills and the biggest expense alternative treatments to recover to the point of physical and cognitive capacity, pre-seizure.
Please know that your NON-TAXABLE DONATION is GREATLY APPRECIATED.
