Help with Wanda Matlock’s Final Expenses

Hello - I am Lori Matlock, and I started this gofundme page to raise money for outstanding medical costs, and memorial expenses for my sweet mother, Wanda Matlock.

Since my dad died in 1994, Mom primarily lived with me. In 2014, Mom lost most of her vision due to macular degeneration. She could no longer drive, see well enough to cook, do everyday activities, or shop for groceries. She also had to have eye injections every four to eight weeks to keep from losing the rest of her vision.

Mom also had severe osteoporosis, which left her in immense pain the majority of the time.

In 2023, Mom was hospitalized for a virus. During diagnostic tests, an MRI showed a mass on her left lung. She did not want a biopsy, and I supported her decision.

The last two years have been dominated by medical appointments, and care at home.

Early in the morning on September 8, 2024, my mom died. I am heartbroken and can’t imagine how I will go on without her.
