Please help Crystal Nagel & her family.

My sister-in-law Crystal Nagel was involved in a 4-wheeler accident on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at the Darrington, WA Rodeo grounds. Her quad rolled over her and she lay unconscious. She was transported by ambulance and then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

At Harborview, the doctors have done tests to determine her head injury, which is bruising on the brain. Thankfully it was not an active bleed. She has suffered 7 broken ribs and is medically sedated and has a breathing tube in. She has been transferred from the Trauma Center to the ICU, and she is currently undergoing surgery to close a large gash on her head.

Crystal is a loving wife and mother of two beautiful young girls. She’s an avid horseback rider and lover of the outdoors. She is an electrician and designs and produces handmade leather products.

Crystal has been a huge support for her Darrington community, spending much of her free time helping to plan and conduct playdates for her and her girls and her fellow riders to participate in.

We are asking for help with Crystal’s medical bills. We all know that hospitals are expensive, and insurance doesn’t cover all expenses. Her husband Corey will have hotel stays, gas, and food to be able to be at her side, and there is no current timeframe for her to be released as she is still sedated and needs further tests to determine the extent of her injuries.

Her family is hoping she’ll be back at home as soon as possible to be with her girls. This is a very scary thing to happen, and we are all praying she’ll be 100% soon.
