Contribute to a Cancer Cure for David Clevenger
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Nina Dudley and David Clevenger is my father-in-law. David was diagnosed with cancer and is waiting to receive a bone marrow transplant. To receive the transplant, all of his blood counts and health must be at a certain level for his body to not reject the new bone marrow. For the past 3 months, he has been participating in a trial with hopes of his numbers getting to where they need to be. Unfortunately, the trial has not worked and they are forced to try another medicine regimen that have some pretty serious side effects. He has continued to work at his own risk because he is the primary household provider. With hospital visits, extended hospital stays and medical bills piling up for this humble man, I decided to fundraise in hopes that we could all collectively help ease some of his burdens. After he receives the life-saving bone marrow transplant, they will be off of work for a year to heal. Paula and David are always the first to jump in and help in every way they can and have not stopped even amid this health crisis. David leads worship at his local church and they both teach the children's Sunday school class. At any given time you can find them teaching the kids, acting out a play for the church, or taking a meal to someone in need. They fill their weekend going to Paula's customer's weddings, funerals or birthdays because each customer at Hy-Vee is like family to them. Neither one of them meet a stranger and embodies true kindness to their neighbors. The health need, only Jesus and the doctors can meet. The need for peace and comfort comes from our prayers and Holy Spirit. The financial need is great, but if we all could do a little, we have the power to meet that need by God's grace and provision. I'm asking that you consider donating what you can and I assure you 100% of your donations will go to medical expenses or living expenses while he undergoes treatment. Please pray for his body to be healed and made whole.
