Please help Dawn in her cancer fight

My name is Heather I am fundraising for my friend Dawn of 35 years and her husband Patrick raise money to help lighten a bit of the load of financial hardship.

Many years ago Dawn was forced to leave the work force due to health issues. This has left so much strain on Patrick has been the only person in the household to earn a paycheck.

Unfortunately Dawn was recently hit with a horrible diagnosis of Small Cell Carcinoma in the lower lobe of her right lung.

Unfortunately Patricks job does not provide vacation or paid time off.

Due to this diagnosis Patrick has had to lose regular pay as well as the 20 hours overtime he typically works to pay bills.

He has had to miss work to take his wife to doctors appointments multiple times a week.

Dawn is now scheduled for surgery which will require Patrick to take additional time out of work to care for Dawn as she recovers.

As we all know living expenses have gotten out of control, not to mention the gas costs to travel to and from Boston multiple times a week.

Everything they are dealing with is overwhelming to put it lightly.

I am asking for any amount of money you can donate to help them just get by on their day to day expenses.

Mortgage, car and insurance payments, electricity and heat and the cost of gas to make multiple weekly trips to and from Boston. Once Dawn BEATS this they will then have the stress of medical bills which we all know insurance doesn't cover.

I am asking for everyone to help make this horrible fight a bit less strenuous for them both.
