Please help Deb smile during her fight against breast cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

I’m writing today in reference to a close friend and co-worker who has begun her fight with an aggressive breast cancer with an extensive presence in the lymphatic and vascular area. We hoped we wouldn’t have to ask for help as we are healthcare providers, meaning we are the givers not the receivers.

We are reaching out to you for support during this long journey of healing. If any of you know Deb, you know she is a ball of energy, a positive uplifting soul, everyone’s friend, a good person that wants to help others, and a wonderful patient advocate. She may have been your very own advocate as she works in the surgical department. She has touched the lives of many with her compassion and now she is in need.

Deb has been a part of the healthcare industry for a few years. Her latest adventure was putting herself through Surgical Technology school late in life. Deb was successful on this path and became a certified surgical tech in the Saint Petersburg, Florida area. During the time she was finishing school and learning a new trade she became a grandmother to a beautiful baby girl, who is now 18months old.

Deb is staying strong and ready to win this fight!

However, the cost of medical expenses, time away from work, and now raising her 18-month-old granddaughter alone is adding undue stress to her at a time she can’t afford any extra. Your generous donations will help ease the financial burden during this challenging time in her life.
