Please Help Debbie Stone

We are raising funds to pay hospital expenses for my mum Debbie, who has sustained a brain injury in Bali, just one week shy of flying home for my wedding.
She has now gained consciousness and informed us that she does not have travel insurance.
Being in Bali they require upfront payment so we are scrambling to find as much money as we can to cover her treatment which is in excess already of $22,000AUD just three days into her treatment. We also have no idea how long she will need to be hospitalised and how much ongoing care she will need.
Debbie is very generous and was fundraising and doing charitable work with locals in Bali, such as purchasing and donating food and clothing packages.
She has always been passionate about helping others in less fortunate positions throughout her life and we know that she has made a difference to many people's lives. If you don't know Debbie personally, she has cooked meals for the homeless, been a foster parent and raised funds for the less fortunate.
Here are all the details:
She is currently being treated in Intensive Care Unit in Bali, she was taken to the hospital on Thursday the 10th of August as Debbie was found unconscious in her hotel room.
Her Brother Max who was holidaying in Bali went to check on her, knowing that she had been sick, and was concerned after being unable to get in contact with her.
She was hospitalised and unconscious for roughly 24hrs and is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua Bali.
Prior to admission she had been acutely unwell and was treated for a migraine, vomiting and diarrhoea. On admission she was severely dehydrated with severe electrolyte imbalances, she was stabilised and diagnostics were run.
The biggest concern though is the results of cat scan on her brain, that has revealed that there was swelling on her brain and limited blood flow to part of her brain. The doctors are unsure of whether she had a stroke or the brain swelling was a result of the dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Regardless, she has sustained a brain injury and we are unsure of the extent of neurological damage at this stage.
Some positive news though, she is conscious now, and both her daughters, Nichole and I, Fiona, spoke to her today Sunday August 13th 2023. She is verbal, though slurring. She is still bed bound in ICU and is in and serious but stable condition.
We are so incredibly overwhelmed by your generosity and don’t know what we would do without the funds that have been raised to date.
We have also received so many words of support and love, we thank you all for reaching out to us and we have passed these words onto Debbie today. She was so grateful and overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown.
We know that not everyone is financially able to give so we are asking that you please share this far and wide because every share counts.
Please continue to pray we have already seen prayers answered.
Kindest,
Fiona Gunn & all of Debbie’s Family
