Please Help Dillon Dog
Donation protected
Hi my name is Charlene, I started this fundraiser to help this little Aussie that we temporarily named Dillion.
Here is his story to date.
We are guessing he got dumped or really lost. He looks to be a purebred quality Australian Shepherd. He was found in Acton CA 11 days ago. Signs, Social Media posts and other attempts have been made to find his home. No collar or microchip, yes he has been scanned.
He wandered upon a friends dog boarding facility ( Rock n Roll Dog Boarding Facility). He was very hungry and in obvious distress. The owner of the facility was able to get him in a large kennel run. He was/ is in simi poor condition as he had foxtails imbedded in his coat and in his paws. He is definitely underweight and noticeable abscess’s in paws from foxtails. He is a little skittish but not mean at all, he seems to be mostly scared. He’s really growing to trust me now just after 3 days of handleing. I can even pick him up now.

Yesterday we took him to the vet, opened up a crate and he went right in, seems like he might be familiar. He rode in the car calmly to Sweetwater veterinary clinic seems like cars are familiar.
Pamala Marks agreed to pay his vet bill. $529.07. As seen in photos the receipt from the clinic. We would like to raise enough money to get her reimbursed asap and get him neutered and whatever else he may need to get him in good health. He could have been someone’s Aussie breeding stock as he is still intact. He also could have been a working ranch dog. He has had some minimal training that I can tell. He knows come here, sit and lay down. Although he dose not seem to be real familiar with the leash? He needs some work. He’s very sweet and tries. He’s got a calm demeanor and not barky or aggressive to other dogs although wants to be social. He has seen kittys and chickens didn’t seem to be interested. We have peacocks snd he also showed no interest.
I am not sure how long I can keep him here as I brought him home after his vet visit to the ranch also home of Santa Clarita Valery Dog Agility Club. This is on borrowed time as we already have too many dogs on the ranch. All performance dogs and our Great Pyrenees. 11 dogs total between 3 families. So he will need need a foster and or loving home soon. He needs daily care of his paws more and more training and love. PM me if interested in him or finding him a foster. I would love to see him flourish and end up in an agility home that would be ideal. We will donate a month of training in obedience and a month of Bootcamp agility at Santa Clarita Dog Agility Club. You can call me direct if interested [phone redacted].
