Please help donate- Kidney Failure

My name is Vanessa Camarillo and I am raising money for myself, as I have stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease from being a Type 1 Diabetic for more than 30 years! Numerous illnesses can be caused by diabetes, and CKD is one of them. I was notified in 2021 about the early onset of this disease, and it has progressed. So, it is time to take action.

I am asking for donations of any amount- anything that you can give- over the next 1-2 years (but it can happen sooner) toward my fundraiser. The fundraiser will start at $250,000, but it might go higher as the countdown approaches to the surgery time. With all that I have faced throughout my life having diabetes, this is the biggest scare I have faced. A few years ago I realized that it was possible that I would not be able to have children, but in 2022 I gained the greatest gift, my daughter Sariyah! Therefore, this fundraiser I have started is the start of a "new and somewhat prolonged life".

If a family member with the same blood type donates a kidney, I have up to 30 more years to live. If a non-family member donates, I have up to 10. I am not only doing this for myself but for my family! If I am put on the transplant waitlist, it can take up to 10 years for a kidney to be available, and honestly, I know my body cannot wait that long.

In the future, medical bills can accumulate to over $400,000 (https://www.statista.com/statistics/1100710/organ-transplantation-costs-breakdown-us/). I called and spoke with my insurance and a transplant will not be covered, which is very unfortunate! However, dialysis will be. With the donations, I promise to not fraud anyone and use it only for my medical needs.

Lastly, if anything were to happen to me before this transplant occurs, or if the transplant does not take, then I will donate the money to my daughter, so she can be taken care of if I am no longer here to take care of her myself. And please, do not share your feelings with me about my situation because I am already dealing with a lot. So, please let me live my life as I am now and not add stressors along with what I can experience before this event occurs.
