Please help Doren heal his chronic lower back pain

Hi, my name is Doren Sorell, and I appreciate you taking some time to read my story.

I have been suffering from lower back pain for over 3 years, and it's affected every part of my life. It’s 24/7 pain that interferes with my work, daily activities, emotional/mental health, and (as my wife can attest to) sex life. I have several injuries but the main ones are 2 disc bulges, spondylolisthesis (displacement of the vertebrae), and facet joint inflammation. These injuries have caused my back to completely give out, causing me to be bed-ridden for days. I went down the typical medical route and ended up at a pain management doctor who wanted to administer radiofrequency ablation, a procedure that would destroy the nerves causing the pain, but would end up with major problems in the future if anything went wrong near those dead nerves.

In search of a less destructive option I discovered a spine-specific physical therapy as well as a regenerative medical treatment called PRP (platelet-rich plasma) where they take your own blood and use its plasma to heal your injuries. This treatment has had incredible results for people even worse off than me, but is unfortunately not covered by insurance and the financial burden is taking as much of a toll on my family as my pain is.

I plan to record the whole journey, and I'm confident that my story can serve as a testimonial and inspire the chronically injured to explore these techniques and treatments, making them more affordable and hopefully eventually be considered mainstream medicine.
