Please help Duane Stay Alive

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kristina Glasgow. And I am Duane Glasgow's wife. We've been married for exactly five years, on July 22, 2022. He is one of the most unbelievable people you will ever meet. Looks may be deceiving, but once you get to know him, you'll always want to hang around him.
So I have set up this GoFundMe page for him because Duane has some underlying conditions that have now become somewhat life-threatening to him. At a very young age, he was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes and now has an insulin pump and sensor to monitor his blood sugar levels and distribute the insulin as needed. Since dealing with this most of his life, he has unfortunately developed kidney failure along the way. And now, just turning 37 years old on June 28, 2022, he has only 10% of his kidneys functioning. He would love to be on the kidney and pancreas transplant list, but we are just waiting on his doctor to speak with the specialty doctor who happens to be in Seattle, WA, to let us know when we could see him. This means taking a 6-8 hour trip to Seattle driving because flying is not an option with Duane. Basically, we need any help with medical expenses. He is on Medicare, but unfortunately, Medicare does not take care of prescriptions, which is his insulin to keep him alive. Just his insulin pump and sensors are up to a thousand dollars a month. And then insulin alone is hundreds of dollars for ONE VIAL. He also takes 3 other pills for his kidneys and high blood pressure, which out of pocket will be up to a couple hundred. (and yes, that is with GoodRX too)

All I'm asking is to help with his medical bills. I am the primary income but paying for our home, the car, food, GAS, and medical bills is hard. I already have my paycheck being garnished because of late medical bills. And living in Idaho, we all know how much minimum wage is here. (not that I get minimum wage, but I don't get THAT much more)

My husband is too young to have to face death so soon. And there is one thing that he wants more than anything in this world, and that is to be a father. Even tho we have been trying, we haven't had any luck. We were starting to look into other options like IVF or even adoption. But now that we've learned about his condition, we're unsure if having a child can even happen for us.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my husband. I hope everyone stays safe out there. Keep your loved ones close because nowadays... you never know.
