Please help Eileen Dolan with her medical costs

My name is Lee Ann Lee, and I am creating this Gofundme account for my sister, Eileen Dolan, who is truly the absolute kindest, most compassionate, selfless and gracious person I have ever known. Eileen has made it her life's work to take care of others, and when she isn't working, she is volunteering in her community and in several other areas of the state. Eileen is a 33 year cancer survivor. She has had breast cancer twice, basil cell carcinoma, and last year she fought and won her battle with tongue (squamous cell carcinoma) cancer. She was out of work for several months last year and her and her husband, John's savings were nearly depleted. Then we had the worst news possible this past May: the squamous cell carcinoma had metastisized. Through testing, we learned she now had cancer in her lungs, several bones, a kidney, soft tissue and lymph nodes. She needed to retire with no notice and is still awaiting her first social security check. Medicare has covered only part of her medical bills, and as of July 1, 2024, she is receiving hospice care at the McClure Miller Respite House. Sadly, Medicare only covers the cost of her medication and the $440 per day fee is out of pocket. She might be with us for a month or maybe a few weeks, but not only are we facing the devastating loss of our sister, wife, aunt, and friend, but the potential financial burden is overwhelming.
