Please help Evan Gray's family say goodbye

My name is Michelle Davis. Sunday night, the world lost a bright light and left a family and community devastated. At just 18 years old, Evan Gray passed away in a terrible car accident.

I have known his mom, Brenda Gray for 17 years and he was her whole world. A single mom, they had a very special bond. In 2011, Dave entered Brenda and Evan's life and cared for Evan as if he were his own. Together they joined families and became a family of 5. Evan even had the honor of walking his mom down the aisle when she married Dave.

Evan was preparing to start Alfred State University in the fall. He had the world at his feet and in a moment that world was forever changed when he left us.

As a mom, my heart hurts so badly for Brenda, Dave, and their entire family. How do we help in a helpless situation? How can we comfort when there's no comfort to be had? This is something NO parent should have to endure. I know I can't make things better. There's no fix to this.

But WE can collectively help give Evan a beautiful send off. If you are able, please help with a donation for Evan's funeral arrangements. Helping cover these costs will help Evan's family be able to focus on grieving and not worry about the financials. That should be the very last thing they need to deal with right now.
