Please help family remember Stephen Hoston III

Stephen Hoston was gunned down while holding a baby in his arms Tuesday March 15, 2022. He was walking on Hawthrone Street in the Frankford section area located in Philadelphia, with his girlfriend along with 2 younger children and infant baby. According to the girlfriend, the gunman was seen walking by them where Stephen Hoston III was struck from behind and shot and killed. He was shot in the leg, buttocks, neck, left cheek and that bullet exited out his head. Thankfully the baby and the children was unharmed and not hurt. This was not a random act, he was definitely targeted. Due to the high crime rate in the Philadelphia area the Police Department have been overwhelmed with many unsolved case. Stephen Hoston can not and will not go on as a cold case. We will like to honor his name and remember him as a hero. This has impacted so people as we are all experiencing such a tragic lost. Many people are calling him a hero, but to us he was a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend to many. He was also the guy who would help anybody in the neighborhood no matter what time of day it was. Stephen will help his neighbors carry groceries in their home, he would do store runs, and was always a phone call away for others. Even though he never had a chance to have any kids of his own, he played a major role in his nieces (12, 10 and 2yrs old) and nephew(15yrs old) lives. Stephen Hoston grew up to be a honorable respectable man, but he was still a big baby to his mother aka mommy lol. There are still many questions that has been unanswered and without the police help unfortunately we have to do it on our own. My brother did have life insurance and we was able to come up with the reward money , but we still need help! Please help the family keep Stephen Hoston III name alive as we will not and can not allow him to go on as a cold case. We greatly appreciate a small donation as that goes a long way.
