Please Help Fatima Get a Needed Surgery

Thank you for visiting this GoFundMe page. I am creating it for my sister-in-law, Fatima Gonzalez del Castillo. Fatima is a beautiful person of great faith. She lives in Venezuela where they are suffering everyday from the  tragic situations that have besiezed thier country. Fatima recently fell and fractured her left hip. She is in great pain and needs an emergency surgery. Unfortunately, because of the situation in Venezuela there is no health insurance, nor any way for her to just put the cost of the surgery on credit and pay it later. They are insisting that she comes up with the money before they will treat her or perform the surgery.  So she is simply bed bound at her home in great pain.  She needs to pay $3,680.00 US dollars just for the hip replacement orthosis that they will need to import from a different country.  She will then need another approximate $2,500.00 dollars for the surgery itself, medical supplies, anethesology, hospital stay and for a walker and other items she will need  during her recovery. Thus, I hope to raise $6,000 to help her. I realize this is a lot of money even here in the U.S., but in Venezuela the average annual salary is around $3,000.00, so you can see this is an over whelming situation for her to be in.  Fatima lost her husband and one of her sons in recent years, which presents additional finanical challenges to her situation. If you could meet her, you would see what a kind and beautiful person she is. I know she will be so grateful if there is anyway you could help her through this trying time.

The money that is donated to this fund raiser will go directly to her brother, Miguel Gonzalez del Castillo, who used to live in the United States and still has a bank account here. He will exchange the money and ensure she receives all of it for her surgery in Venezuela.
