Please help feed Popcorn Park Zoo animal refuge
Tax deductible
Humans need to stay home under the lockdown. The zoo is closed but the animals are still there. Without admission tickets, funds for food, medicine, and operating costs have stopped. Popcorn Park Zoo rescues domesticated animals and wildlife. In addition to the animals on display there is a dog shelter on the property.
Would you please donate to give financial support to animals that need it most?
Our fundraising team consists of one rock band, one photographer, and one organization that is passionate about this zoo and the work that they do.
Annually since 2011, Rock 2 Adopt has held a music festival at Popcorn Park Zoo to raise money and to find homes for sheltered dogs at the zoo This year the event is scheduled again. However, it remains to be seen if it is allowed to happen and as to what capacity. As with everything else the future looks grim.
We made a music video!
The video has been made to raise funds and generate awareness of Popcorn Park's dedication to the domestic and wildlife it cares for and with certainty that the song's message will continue on once this pandemic is over.
One Band. One filmmaker. One GoPro. One Cause.
New Jersey based band, Ripped, and photographer/filmmaker Franco Frassetti of Mudbuk.com were out one rainy Sunday morning volunteering and decided upon a video to benefit Popcorn Park Zoo. Following social distancing guidelines, the band performed as one GoPro camera was repeatedly mounted and handheld.
Swan was written by Ripped and former bassist, Jack France. Steven Keller, founder and guitarist of Ripped, wrote the song with Popcorn Park Zoo in mind.
With the Zoo closed during this pandemic, it still must feed the animals. The Zoo is part of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., It's mission as stated on its website "...is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end."
Thank you!
