Please Help Fix Beans’ Legs - Thank You !

Hi, my name is Erin and I’m reaching out for help. My one year old Dachshund boy, Libbey Beans (aka Beans) is the happiest, most playful little wiener you could ever meet. He loves to super destroy his toys, snuggle with his peeps and brighten our lives with his silliness. He’s my everything — my only child.

Beans needs urgent medical help and I’m in need of support.

Since he was 8 months old, Beans has been limping on both of his front legs. After numerous vet visits, we were referred to an orthopedic specialist at Michigan State University (MSU) in Lansing, Michigan, who confirmed that Beans needs two surgeries on each of his front legs. If left untreated, he will develop early arthritis and face a lifetime of pain and discomfort — something no dog should have to endure and most certainly something I don't want him to endure. Despite being a perfectly healthy, happy little dude in every other way, these surgeries are crucial for his well-being and quality of life.

The cost of these surgeries & graphs will range from $26,500 to $31,500. This is far beyond what I can afford on my own and I’m reaching out to the kindness of friends, family and fellow animal lovers to help give Beans the long life he deserves - one free from pain.

I’m doing everything I can to raise the funds necessary for his surgeries. Any and all donations will go directly toward the cost of his procedures and I will be forever grateful for any help offered.

If we raise more than what we need, I will pay it forward and help other pets in need of urgent care.

Beans is more than just a pet, he’s my baby boy & I’m committed to doing whatever it takes to give him the best life possible.
