Please Help Frances Danger Medical Living Expense

Hello! How are you? My name is Frances Danger. I am Mvskoke/Semvnole.

I come to you today to humbly ask for assistance with medical bills and living expenses.

I'm on SSDI due to schizoaffective disorder bipolar type, anxiety, PTSD, and panic disorder. I lived with agoraphobia for 11 years. I managed through a combination of therapy, medication, and attempting to live my life walking in the footsteps of my ancestors. This has worked for quite awhile now but a few months ago I began to spiral.

My medication stopped working late last month. I slipped into a major depression and my anxiety was near constant. I tried to keep going, masking what was really going on by going going so it would seem like I was ok even though I wasn't. I spoke to friends about it and was almost to my psychiatrist appointment when I began to struggle with intrusive thoughts last week.

As I'm on SSDI I cannot afford the $1200 it cost for me to be in Oakwood Springs but it was an emergency so I checked myself inpatient. I was unable to call IHS for purchased/referred healthcare prior to admission so they are unable to assist.

Despite this I'm so glad I checked in. I was able to get on the Aristada shot which almost immediately worked. I still need my psychiatrist and therapy but I'm no longer in crisis. I'm relieved because it was very scary.

I cannot stay in the living situation I was in when I went inpatient. I'm currently at a hotel until Wednesday. After that I'm not certain where I'll be.

I know there are other needs that are more important than this but I'd appreciate any help you can provide, especially if it's sending up smoke for healing and strength.
