Please Help Frances & Forrest Rebuild After the Eaton Fire

Donation protected
We are putting this out there for our dear friends Frances and Forrest, who--like countless others in the LA area tonight--have lost their home and nearly everything in it due to the ongoing Eaton wildfire.

The photo you see above is what remains of their home in Altadena as of January 8th. On the night of the 7th, in the haste of evacuating, they had to make unfortunate choices about what to take and what to leave--and they were only able to take a few necessities and personal effects. The fire not only took the house itself but all of their furniture, bedding, kitchen supplies and appliances. In addition, Forrest has lost all of his own clothing, records, and his computers and electronic equipment--he is a freelance documentary producer and editor, and that equipment was his sole means of income and his livelihood. Frances--who recently joined LACMA as a curator and art historian--lost all of her books, many of which were rare and necessary for her research and career. This is not to mention the photographs and other personal items money won't bring back. We have been close friends with Frances for seventeen years and Forrest for five years; any funds raised will help them through this challenging time, cover unexpected costs, and get them back on their feet.

Thank you,

Lindsay & Jenny
