I am heartbroken to share that our dear friend Franklin's soul took flight on Saturday evening. He was surrounded by the music and community he loved. Franklin was a bright light in all our lives, a loving father, grandfather and the beloved son of "Momma Bear," who bittersweetly celebrates her 100th birthday with her family today.

His joyful spirit and warmth touched everyone who knew him but take comfort in knowing that Franklin is no doubt on a cloud jamming with Jerry... may the four winds blow you home again.
