Please help freeride skier and former coach with his surgery

Many of you will remember one of our original coaches, Coach Kieran. An original, and a one of a kind!

Kieran coached for Movement Evolution Scotland from when first formed all the way until The Movement Bothy was built but Kierans first love is skiing. Having originally excelled at ski racing, skiing with local club Gordon Skiers and representing Scotland and Great Britain on a number of occasions, more recently he has combined his love of speed with his passion for parkour and tricking becoming a competitive freeride skier. Competing all over the world. Kieran opitimises the term "multi sport athlete", particularly in a freespirit sports context. When not on skis you will find him mountain biking, skating, flipping, riding his BMX, climbing and generally not staying still for long.

Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago Kieran had an accident on his skis and fully ruptured his ACL and partially tore his meniscus and MCL.

In attempt to get back on skis as quickly as possible he has found a surgeon keen to reconstruct his knee however whilst being one of the best in the country in his chosen sport because Freeride Skiing is not an Olympic discipline he does not have the same support as he would if he was ski racing or competing in the park & pipe disciplines. It is for this reason that The Movement Bothy has set up this Go Fund Me page. Our target is to raise £8,000 to pay for the treatment as soon as possible to allow him to get back to the activities he loves, inspiring those old and young to push their limits and move more.
