Please help get this furbaby home

Hello all, I am trying to help gather some funds on behalf of a very close friend who unfortunately, very recently lost her very special furbaby Diesel.

Diane and Diesel are very well known in some of the Devon communities and some further afield. Diesel was an amazing THERAPY dog that supported many people through some very difficult times.

He was well known and loved by many at the Holsworthy Link centre and many of the surrounding doctors surgeries. This lovely boy undertook some challenging trauma based work with young children and families. He has supported children with learning difficulties and disabilities and was loved by anyone who met him.

Unfortunately this honest sweet boy sadly started to get quite poorly over the last few weeks suffering a stroke, seizures and Peritonitis. He sadly lost his battle on the 29/03/25 after a few over night stays and many tests at the vets. Following vet advice that he was in pain and wasn’t going to get better his mom made the extremely difficult choice to let him go, his mom held him close, giving him so much love, support, cuddles and kisses as he peacefully passed away in her arms. As I’m sure you can imagine his mom is absolutely distraught, she has lost her life-long best friend, her support and her baby. Diane had Diesel since he was a tiny puppy right up until he closed his eyes forever at 14years old.

The vet practice has been absolutely fantastic in supporting Diane through this very painful loss.

Diane has had Diesel cremated so she can keep him close to her forever. Currently Diesels ashes are still at the vets clinic as the outstanding bill needs to be paid before she can take him back home where he belongs. This is where I ask all of you for your help and support, The bill is almost a total of £800, which unfortunately like most people his mom just doesn’t have that to hand right now. So please, if you are able, donate, and help get this baby back home with his mom where he deserves to be.
