Please help Gia beat Cervical Cancer

On October 12, 2022—just when I thought that I’ve already had my worst nightmare (when we lost our dad just a littler over year ago)—I received a text message which reads: "Oh, wag kang iiyak ha, may cancer ako" (Hey, don’t cry, ok, I have cancer). Nothing in my life could have ever prepared me for the utter shock and searing pain of that moment, finding out that my strong, happy, energetic little sister has cancer—Cervical Cancer Stage 4B.
Ever since she started her cancer journery, with her 1st chemotherapy session in December 2022, Gia has always shown nothing but positivity, strength, and bravery. Since then, Gia has been fighting hard to win this battle, not just for her husband but most especially for her sons—Uno (6yo) and Dos (2yo). She has completed her 6th chemotherapy just recently, March 12, 2023.
6 chemotherapies down (at PHP50k/session or CAD1,250/session), with almost half a million pesos spent, Gia has been responding very well to the treatments and medications. And although her condition has taken a toll on her and the whole family emotionally and financially, we are one with Gia in fighting this battle and we are very much grateful for all the people who have been with us from the beginning of this fight. Thank you very much for all your support, prayers, and financial help.
Gia is now in the radiation phase of her cancer journey and more medications and treatments are still necessary to finally clear her from cancer. She still needs to undergo radiation therapy—33 sessions which cost PHP300k (around CAD7,500)—and 4 brachy therapy sessions—at PHP200k/session (around CAD5,000/session).
We are knocking on your kind hearts to hopefully alleviate some of this financial burden and help us raise funds for Gia’s fight. Your donations will be used for the mentioned treatments plus various expenses such as pre-and-post-treatment-medications, basic needs, and other unforseen expenses that undoubtedly they will have.
We would appreciate all the help and we are believing in financial provision, but above all, we ask for your love, support, and fervent prayers during this challenging time. We thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts and wish all of you continued blessings and provisions from God.
