Please help Ginger and Gilligan get to safety.

Tax deductible
Recently a friend told me about two stray cats living near an autobody shop and junkyard.  They were skinny and not in good shape because there was no regular source of food. These two cats, now named Ginger and Gilligan, were rescued from that situation. Unfortunately, both cats are quite feral and not adoptable, and would be miserable living inside.

I have asked Fat Kitty City (FKC) sanctuary in El Dorado Hills if they would accept the two cats, and they agreed. Our financial goal is to cover Ginger’s and Gilligan’s lifetime care.  They will be monitored by staff and volunteers to make sure they are healthy, and will have all their needs provided for, including of course all food, shelter and excellent veterinary care if needed.

FKC is an absolutely wonderful, one of a kind sanctuary (not shelter) in Northern California, started by Cindy & Ed over 15 years ago.  It is quite spacious, but fenced in to keep the cats safe from predators. Ginger and Gilligan will have the option of living outdoors or in one of several climate-controlled buildings (or both).

Can you help Ginger and Gilligan? I am very hopeful that we can reach our goal within a few weeks.  We are immensely grateful for any donations, no matter how small, and if you cannot afford to help right now, that's fine. We just ask that you forward this email on to other people who might be able to help.

On behalf of Ginger and Gilligan and feral cats everywhere, we thank you so much!
