Please help give Hope to Rose and Jannet Saso

Hi Everybody,


We wanted to reach out and let you know that We are fundraising to help make money for my Aunts Rose (Josephine) and Jannet (Louise) Saso. As you may or may not already know, this cause is very important to the family and I. My Aunts are elderly now but they came from a large family where they are the youngest of all the children, 7 total, their oldest sister was my Grandmother. Through time they always tried to be there for the elders and make sure they felt loved even if they weren’t financially capable of taking care of them.  They both lived with my Great Grandmother until she passed away.  After my Great Grandmother passed away my 2 aunts continued to live in the home together.  We always thought of them like the Golden Girls, because they did everything together. 

Both aunts have been very sick for years and have been trying their best to get by on minimal income. They came to a point where they couldn’t physically keep things up in their home any longer and were forced to move into assisted living facilities.   Little did we know that COVID-19 would come knocking on their door and hike their medical bills up so much that they are now at a point where the nursing home is trying to evict them, if they can’t come up with money to pay.  The insurance is no longer helping like they should be.  Amongst the pre-existing health issues prior to them catching the virus, it is impossible for them to be able to live without any assistance from a nurse.  They are both still suffering from Pneumonia which is a side effect of COVID-19.  Any money that is given will go towards medical expenses in the nursing home which are well over $75,000 already and going up daily.  We also are going to do any necessary repairs on the home and hire a nurse so they can get out of the nursing home.  Their WISH is to be back in their home and not locked inside these nursing homes.  They have been tossed around between the hospital and nursing homes for months.  They are at the mercy of their insurance and the nursing homes and currently have a lack of funds to make any kind of difference.  Neither of my aunts expected to get sick at the same time.  They have come to rely on each other for so much.  But they can’t help each other right now.  

This is why we are trying to help raise funds.  If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated, this was not easy for them to admit they need help, but we are in a time of emergency and they need the help more then ever.  Thank you in advance for anything that you are able to do.
