Thank you so much for your continued support. We still can't believe how quickly this has all happened, you truly are amazing.
We have decided to raise the target. The initial amount was based on what we needed to start treatment as we didn't know how many vaccines could be made out of my blood, how many visits we would need to make or extra treatments, etc. We now have a much clearer picture. 15 vaccines were made from my blood which is unbelievable, each of these, plus travel, hotel and additional treatment to prepare my liver will cost over £8,500 each. So again a massive thank you for your support. I literally wouldn't be standing here like this if it wasn't for your help. Much love xxx
My name is Melissa and I am 40 years old and I have been fighting secondary breast cancer of the liver and spine for 15 months but now the NHS can not do anything more for me so my only hope is to have immune therapy in Germany. I have been accepted by the clinic for the treatment which could save my life or at the very least give me years rather than the 6 months I have been given.
Please can you help me raise the funds I need to get this treatment so that I will be able to see my 4 children aged 14, 12, 9 and 7 grow up.
It is going to cost £40,000 for 6 rounds of treatment and my first appointment to attend my first round of treatment is on the 15th August 2019.
Please help me to keep fighting as this is my only chance of life.
All funds raised will be paid directly into a Nationwide Building Society account that is overseen by family member Jennie James who will be paying the invoices as they arise for Melissa's treatment at the clinic in Germany.
