Please Help Give My Momma A Final Goodbye She’d Be Proud Of

I would have never thought that I would be sitting here trying to make a GoFundMe for my beautiful mommy, but here I sit stunned, with my head spinning trying to find the perfect words to describe how amazing she was!

As most of you all know, my Mommy, Amanda K. Tilley, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 10:21 PM, at CAMC General Hospital, in Charleston, WV due to an unexpected sudden illness with several complications. She had recently been sick with COVID, but she was strong, stubborn, and had been really taking care of herself the last several years! I had just spoken to her on video chat, and although she was sick, I really thought she would get better! This was so unexpected and sudden that none of us were prepared, and even though I hate to reach out and ask, I have no other options at this point. With death comes expenses. Her arrangements will be made in Wyoming County where we are from, so travel expenses alone these next couple of weeks are going to take a lot that should be spent on her services! So this is me reaching out for help! If y'all would like for me to break it all down, I will be happy to do that just shoot me a message, and I’ll provide receipts as to where and on what the donations were spent! What I can tell you right now though, is that even if we were to do a viewing with a cremation after, and I borrowed the casket, I would still pay over $5,000. That's not counting other expenses that would need to be paid. I don't even have close to that in my bank account, so I am panicking because I will need at least $3,800-$4,000 to even discuss a service. My Momma was an amazing woman who had lived a rough life for a long time, but she came out the other side a winner! Not bitter or resentful, just happy, and she carried her past beautifully!! Please help me give my Momma the absolute best service possible! She had so many friends and family that she loved so much, and I know that she would want them to be able to pay their respects.

She was the last of the glue that held me together; we had gotten so close the last several years. She was my best friend, my rock that I spoke to several times a day usually!
