FATHER of 5 needs help against no cure CANCER

Donation protected
My Husband Glenn my High school sweetheart and our 5 beautiful daughters need your help!!!!

For the first time in 5 years I am sharing my story of CANCER with friends because for the last  5 years Glenn's insurance has covered everything until now.  Glenn's Insurance will not cover The collection of his T-cells and to store them for Car-t therapy that can save his life because it is not FDA approved & Clinical studies will help with treatment when its available  but not the collection, removal from his bone marrow and to store them until there is a clinical study available.

Glenn needs this done as soon as possible it is extremely important  because everyday his cells are being DESTROYED by the chemo and by his condition. He would have to travel anywhere in the United States that has an opening for a Clinical study  for the collection & storage of the cells including the actual Immunotherapy that is not available where we live in San Antonio. In between the collection of the t-cells Glenn will still have to continue with his chemo treatment until the actual procedure of the cells are re infused back into Glenn & are ready to only attack the CANCER CELLS.

Multiple Myeloma part of the LEUKEMIA FAMILY is a blood cancer in the bodies bone marrow with no cure but has treatment available. Glenn was diagnosed in Sept 2013 when he went for a follow up because he was having heart burn and back aches. that day was going to change our lives forever after being told he was diagnosed with cancer that showed multiple tumors  all around his chest and ribs from the xrays thinking that it was also lung cancer. I remember him calling me from the doctors office and giving me the bad news,  imagine your day as any other day and getting the call from your loved one being diagnosed with cancer.

He  immediately started chemo & radiation to prepare to have his first stem cell transplant in Feb of 2014 that failed, It was a hard recovery from the first transplant and having to do it a second time in May 2017 and again failing and coming out of it was even harder for him with complications this disappointing & fearful to all of us. Both stem cell transplants together costing over a million dollars. Without treatment this cancer because its in the blood throughout the entire body begins to attack your bodies organs as well and the body can only tolerate so much chemo.

Glenn started chemo again in August 2018 because the cancer cells were back and had to stop treatment 3 month later in November 2018 because he had to be hospitalized for pneumonia and also in December 2018 needing to travel to Houston at MD Anderson Cancer Center to have jaw surgery to remove dead bone that was caused by his condition that causes weakness of the bones.
After recovering from both illnesses in January Glenn  continued his chemo treatment and in Feb 2019  needed to start aggressive radiation treatment after results of severe pain he felt for several weeks in his left arm  because of a tumor that was found in his arm near his elbow that  caused it to fracture. We are waiting to get results to see if the tumor has shrunk, and it  will determine if he will need to have surgery to place a plate or screws into his arm to keep the bone together to avoid the arm from breaking .

Glenn's treatment consist of blood work every week, chemo by infusion weekly that cost $3000 dollars a bag and a chemo pill that he takes daily for 21 days monthly that cost $14,000 dollars for 21 day supply every month, to include MRI'S, pet scans, bone marrow biopsy's that are very painful and much more are very costly and never ending.

Glenn has bone pain from head to toe everyday and continues to fight with a smile because of his love for his family.  Glenn knows that I and our 5 daughters Samantha, Brooke, Savannah, Hailey and our youngest  Haidyn who is only 10 need him very much.  Haidyn knows her daddy is sick but doesn't know her daddy has cancer because we do not want her to worry the way her sisters do everyday is why we hesitate to tell her.
He is a devoted and loving husband and the best father anyone could ask for although he struggles to accept his cancer illness, he fights with a smile and continues to be at his best even at his worst. My husband has always  been there to help anyone in need and is very caring person with a big heart, he is now the one in need of help and support.
$5.00 $10.00 $20.00 all adds up & is worth to us more than  you know.

Not until now have I shared our story and needed the help of complete strangers hoping and praying that there is kind, loving, selfless giving people that care & want to be a blessing to my husband in his time of need & to know you made a huge difference in his life.

Its one thing to worry about Glenn's health but to worry about how I will come up with the money  that is desperately needed for my husband to have a chance to live a longer happy life. We have been together since we were 16 and now we are 47.  We have been together for 31 years and never imagined this would be a part of our lives it has been the most life changing thing.  Our love, our faith and support of family have got us this far.
Glenn will always find the power & strength to fight and we are very thankful for his doctors & medical team but unfortunately its not enough, its about the COST.

Only with the help of loving, caring and giving people will Glenn have a fighting chance. We would forever be grateful to all that can please donate money and prayers to raise enough to money for Glenn to have a future with his family that love him very much. Please share this with family and friends.
