Please Help Gracie Belle Get Back on Her Paws

Hi, I'm Lindsay. Mom of Gracie Belle, our 13 year old Miniature Pinscher and soulmate in dog form. Gracie recently underwent a major surgery to remove several cancerous mast-cell tumors and 16 teeth, some of which were causing an infection into her jawbone. Following her surgery, she developed a large skin infection. Being weak from her surgery, she ended up slipping at home and ended up with a spinal injury which brought us to the veterinary neurologist. The unexpected and expensive surgery, pre and post-op costs, skin infection and neurological costs left a heavy financial burden on our family at a time when finances were already extremely tight. We are humbly asking for your support in sharing and donating to raise the funds needed to pay off the remaining balance from her surgery and help us get her back on her paws.

Gracie has been with me since she was only 3 months old and has been my faithful companion, best emotional support and a loving "big sister" to her human siblings for the past 13 years. She is a spunky, smart and vivacious girl who brings us joy and laughter (and a few headaches) every day. She has been through so much in her life, from a broken leg at under a year old to chronic pancreatitis, Inflammatory Bowel disease, multiple eye surgeries to repair corneal hernias, and the list goes on. We have always worked hard and sought out and provided the very best care for her in every challenge we've faced. Up until this point we have never asked for financial help, knowing that her care is our responsibility as her parents.

Sometimes life hits you hard though, and this financial burden came at a time in our lives when we didn't have the capacity to pay for it. We've paid as much as we can towards the bill and are working extra hours and extra days to make up the rest, but we have to swallow our pride and admit that we could really use the help this time. We would do absolutely anything for our girl and we will continue to do so. This surgery was so tough on her at her age, but miniature pinschers can live 16-18 years and we know in our hearts that we have happy years left with her. We know with your help and support our girl can make a comeback and we can continue to provide the best care for her for all of her days.
