PLEASE HELP GWEN HOBBS AND HER FAMILY

Hi, my name is Stephanie Levine and I'm trying to raise money for Gwen Hobbs and her family. Gwen and I met at The Breathe Women's Retreat in September and quickly connected, as we had both been diagnosed with colon cancer, but were at different stages of our journey. Gwen had surgery last year to remove a section of her colon and thought she was on the road to recovery. A follow-up scan that was done several months after showed 2 nodules on her lungs. Those were monitored for a period of time and yesterday she went in for surgery. Unfortunately, those nodules are cancerous, so this is stage IV colon cancer with metastases to the lungs. They were able to remove one yesterday, but they can't try to take the other one for another month. Gwen recently left her job to concentrate on her health, and her husband Eric is currently finishing school and getting a degree in Computer Science. They have one child, Monty, and he has special needs. They don't have any family here. They moved to Cleveland during the pandemic so they could be close to good medical care for their son. THIS is where we can help. The lack of funds have been a great source of stress for them. My hope is that everyone can contribute something and help them try to get through this. She's really not sure what is going to be in store for her as far as treatment after the surgeries. Whatever is raised will help them greatly with their living expenses. No amount is too big and no amount is too small. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated.
