Please help Hayley get to Nationals

Hayley Short is a south coast local whose hard work and dedication to Football has finally paid off! At the age of 14, Hayley has been selected to represent NSW in NSW Country State Team, to compete in the Football Australia Girls National Youth Championships to be held in Wollongong.

Taking place at Win Stadium plus John Cretan Park Wollongong from 9th -13th October 2023. Players will travel to Wollongong and are required to camp together as a team for the duration of the tournament.

The tournament will allow Hayley to play at the National level against the best players from across the country. To play at this level is a chance very few players achieve.

The National Youth Championships is an integral part of Football Australia’s talent identification program providing an important stepping stone for many current Commbank Matilda’s and Subway Socceroo’s.

Due to the high cost involved to attend the Nationals, $2,662, we are looking for any support to get Hayley there! Any help would be appreciated and will certainly make a difference and hopefully aid in her dream of becoming a future Matilda!
