Please help Hope and her family: see update below

Hope is going through a terrifying medical ordeal. After having a seizure and being transported to the hospital on Thursday, Hope spent two very scary days in the ICU. She suffered two further seizures on Friday. Doctors ran every possible test trying to figure out what was going on.
Finally on Saturday morning we received an answer. Encephalitis caused by hhv6.
Hope’s brain is infected from infantile roseola. This is super rare and practically unexplainable, which points to an autoimmune disorder. Right now, Hope has amnesia. She recognizes people, but can’t recall events. She doesn't remember graduating, for example, but can sing along to a Burger King commercial and knows every dog she's ever met.

Hope is kind and sweet and super emotional and scared. Any help you can offer will go toward Hope’s care and medical expenses, which are already overwhelming.

****update****

Hope is doing really well at home so far. Other than a few hiccups and a blocked iv line yesterday she's tolerating the ivs really well so far. Music is her best memory. She knows all of the lyrics to every song that she likes. But she has trouble accessing the brain files for who visited yesterday or events of the past. She's doing amazing at eating eggs and dairy like a champion and we are hoping to get the almost 20 lbs back on her soon! It's incredible to have her home.
