Please help Isaac Tse Fight Leukemia

Isaac is 6 years old and is in kindergarten at Pine Road elementary.

He is a quiet boy who likes indoor activities, such as playing with Legos and swimming. He especially likes to play video games with his sister Rachel.

Back in May 2022, the Tse family started to notice that he was having many bruises on his legs and arms. Not long after, little red marks showed up on his chest. On June 6th he was taken to his primary doctor and they immediately sent him to ER at Children Hospital of Philadelphia (KOP). Initial Lab work showed low count on Platelets/red blood cells and a high count on white blood cells. Isaac immediately required a blood transfusion and CHOP KOP transferred him to an Oncology Team at the Main Children Hospital of Philadelphia on the same day. After further testing, Isaac was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on Monday June 6, 2022.

On June 6th, their whole world was turned upside down for the Tse family.

June 8th, Isaac went to the OR for a spinal tap and bone marrow biopsy. A CT port was placed into his chest and his battle with Leukemia started.

Isaac’s family had many plans for this summer such as going to his favorite place, LEGOLAND, as well as Great Wolf Lodge Water Park. This was also supposed to be his first year at summer camp.

This was rock bottom for the Tse family. To ensure Isaac can receive full attention and time for his Chemo treatment and hospital stays, his mom, Phoebe, had to give up her career and make Isaac’s health her priority. Thus, leaving the family with only one income and much uncertainty about what is to come next including any medical expenses and Isaac’s education.
