Help JeLynn Tatum Fight Back

This is Shae, JeLynn’s sister. As many of you know, JeLynn was in a terrible car wreck Tuesday, June 1. She was driving on the highway just outside of Jonesboro around 12:30pm, hydroplaned losing control of her vehicle, crossed the median and was struck by a semi truck rear passenger side. First responders had to cut her from her car. She was flown to Memphis, TN and doctors say her injuries are severe with spinal injuries and a collapsed lung. She had no feeling below the chest and is paralyzed but is able to move her upper body.

At 5am on June 2nd, doctors performed surgery to repair her spine to correct alignment. Although this will not fix her paralysis, the surgery was successful in aligning the spine. The doctor did see that JeLynns spinal cord was compressed paper thin, but not severed. All of her spinal fluid was still intact which is a miracle. She has successfully made it out of surgery and is doing what she does best, fighting hard.

While we are hopeful in a complete recovery, the extent and the road back to recovery will be long. We expe the medical expenses (not to mention expenses for our family to be with her at the hospital) will be high. We also want JeLynn to be able to have her bills taken care of without worry.
