Please help cover medical bills for cancer

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my Mom, Jewel, whose in need of help to fight liver cancer also know as Cholangiocarcinoma which is a very rare type of liver cancer. On October 11, 2022, My mom Jewel was diagnosed with liver cancer. She sent a text to me and my 3 other siblings. I never thought this would happen to my mom as she has always taken care of herself from eating well and working out her whole life (non smoker or drinker). We are not exempt from cancer. It can happen to anyone. Her recent scans in October 2022 showed two tumors in the liver. She has started chemotherapy to shrink the tumors as the doctors cannot do surgery to remove them until they shrink in size. Since then she has had 7 chemotherapy treatments and will have one more January 10th before getting another scan to see if the tumors have reduced in size. She recently shaved her head and was not happy about losing her hair. She has lost 31 lbs (currently weighs 91-94 lbs) and we are optimistic that once she is done with the chemotherapy her body will start to heal and she will gain the weight back. She is also receiving Vitamin C treatments every two weeks of 20,000 mg which insurance doesn’t cover however it has been helping her body expel the toxins of the chemotherapy. She has been looking at alternative treatments for targeted DNA sequencing and we believe she will see great results with a treatment plan tailored to her specifically. You can imagine the emotional, physical, and mental toll all of this has had.  The money raised will go towards: the cost of her liver surgery or DNA targeting therapy (decision to be made after scan results come in in the coming weeks, cost for transportation, frequent appointments she has, cost for very frequent MRIs ( current insurance has them at 2K EACH and she has had 2 already, general bills (since she quick her job in October 2022.
