Jocelyn’s Breast Cancer Expense Fund

Please help my cousin, Jocelyn Salvador with breast cancer expenses (surgery bills, lab tests, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, drug treatment, medical procedure, etc.) in the next 12 months.
My dearest first cousin, Jocelyn, has been diagnosed (December 2020) with Stage 1 (invasive ductal carcinoma) breast cancer. She was advised by her primary care physician in Manila to undergo surgery as soon as possible and that would include mastectomy with breast reconstruction to prevent the spread of cancer cells and formation of new tumors in other parts of her body.
Without hesitation, Jocelyn immediately scheduled her surgical procedures. But the surgeons had to make changes in the procedures because the breast ultrasound revealed a suspicious cyst, which turned out to be another cancerous tumor. The changes resulted to sky-high medical charges.
Jocelyn has proceeded with the scheduled operation (January 2021) and we're thrilled to know everything went well. We’re all hoping and praying for her speedy recovery and healing from this cancer continues. With the help of relatives and friends in the Philippines and elsewhere, she was able to pay off a small portion of the hospital bills. The gathered contributions were not enough to cover all her expenses that included an additional procedure. She still has an outstanding medical bill (see photos below) for professional (breast and plastic surgeons) and other miscellaneous fees. Thankfully, the hospital management has agreed to extend the payment deadline.
During surgery, Jocelyn did not have enough skin, so the surgeon couldn’t perform an immediate breast implantation. A temporary breast expander was placed on her chest for the time being while she waits for her skin to settle which would take about 6 months to happen. A breast tissue expander is an inflatable breast implant designed to stretch the skin and muscle to make room for a future, more permanent implant. That breast implant procedure which will take place in July or August 2021 would be costly.
Jocelyn’s recent Oncologist visit and phone conversation (March 2021) confirmed her worst fears. Cancer has spread to her 5 lymph nodes and 4 expirodal nodes and that would require 14 tests before chemotherapy (8 cycles), radiation therapy and drug treatments. I had to increase the goal amount.
Jocelyn and her family are going through extreme financial hardship right now, especially after another devastating wrath of nature - super typhoon Ulysses (known internationally as typhoon Vamco) hit our hometown Marikina City directly a few months ago and flooded nearby towns. It was the worst flooding in Metro Manila since super typhoon Ondoy (known internationally as typhoon Ketsana) in 2009 that destroyed the livelihood of hundreds of thousands of residents in our town, including Jocelyn’s small family-run shoemaking business. Jocelyn needs our prayers, love and support. Jocelyn is a selfless, loving and caring human being - always puts her family and loved ones first. Please, find it in your heart to help Jocelyn by whatever amount you can spare. Any amount counts and would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for your time and generosity.
