Please help Joe, he is a disabled homeless man

Hello. My name is Melissa. My friend Jen and I are looking for help for Joe, a disabled homeless man in our community.

Joe is in a wheelchair, and has been staying outside with his belongings in the Marshall's/Shoprite shopping center.

To get him out of the cold, we have covered a room for him at the Ramada until Saturday morning. We have been looking into more long terms solutions for him, and unfortunately we have not found anywhere available to help him. We have been in touch with social services, called mens shelters in PA ( wait lists and are not handicap accessible), called nursing homes, local organizations, and unfortunately have not found a solution. Joe needs a place to stay that is wheelchair accessible, and that he is able to get to with his belongings. He currently has his belongings in a shopping cart, and does not want to leave it behind.

Jen and I are exploring all options, and will continue to try to help find a solution. In the meantime, we are hoping for help to continue Joe's stay at the Ramada during these frigid temperatures. Any help for Joe would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless ❤️
