Please help Joe & Jen pay Joe’s medical bills

As some of you may know my son-in-law, Joe Frank had a freak accident while unloading a 900 pound air compressor on April 1st. That impact trauma led to him having a large patch of skin die. On April 13th he was admitted to the ER and they cut out the dead tissue. On April 27th, they took skin from his right thigh for a skin graft to cover the wound on his left thigh. It was stapled on and they applied a wound vac to it for 4 days.
On May 2nd after several weeks in the hospital he was finally sent home with some rules and bandage supplies. He was told to return that Wednesday for a visit check up and every Wednesday from that point on for them to evaluate the wound.
After being out of work for 83 days Joe went back but time there was short lived due to severe back pain that he developed. He spent many days in such severe back pain that he couldn’t even move off the couch and none of the doctors or therapies were helping. On August 5th with no pain relief in sight and it only getting worse he went back to the ER only to find out that he has a staph infection in his vertebrae caused from the infection he had in his leg. They put in a IV port so that they could give him heavy duty antibiotics directly into his veins. On August 16th he was released to go home with the port still in and having to administer the antibiotics himself. He is still in serious pain plus the IV port is extremely painful. He’s still unable to do anything other then lay in bed all day due to the pain. On top of all this he’s lost almost 50 pounds and has muscle atrophy. If all this isn’t bad enough, Workman’s Comp stopped paying for anything after they released him to return to work so he has no income and all the hospital bills & doctor visits are out of pocket and a wound specialist isn’t cheap. Currently they have been struggling to make it on Jen’s income only and they are really struggling both financially and emotionally. Neither of them like to share these parts of their private lives but I decided that it’s time to ask family and friends for help. I do what I can to help but with dealing with my own health issues it’s difficult to find extra funds to give them so I am asking all of you to please do whatever you can to help out, even if it’s only a few bucks every little bit helps. Plus if you’ve got some free time on your hands and don’t mind doing yard work, Jen needs assistance with her lawn and yard. She’s been putting in as much time at work as she can plus taking care of Joe and Emma. Please find it in your heart to help them out any way that you can and say an extra prayer for quick healing for Joe, this has gone on long enough.
Thank you and God Bless you!
