At the age of 62 our friend, father, husband, relative, uncle, volunteer coach of the following sports; hockey, basketball, soccer, football, hockey referee and volunteer for the Brain Injury Association London, Stoney Creek Minor Hockey, St. Catharines Minor Hockey, St. Francis Xavier basketball, his passion of sports in the NHL, OHL, and CFL as the players personal photographer making many friends with many pro athletes but now has had his life terribly altered. Extensive Neuro Physio (expensive and not any coverage). The family is now hit with a huge financial burden of DEBT and it will be near impossible to move forward as the many expenses of a normal family have increased two-fold. Modifications to the home for occupational safety are very expensive as will be his Neuro-Physio and In home heath care, as his disease worsens and there is no coverage.
John has spent his life helping others and giving back as a volunteer he has always made sure to put his family and friends ahead of himself.
This impact on a person of such a devastating diagnosis and invasive treatment is mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting to him and the immediate family. He now suffers from Movement Disorders and he has lost some function of his left arm and hand, Lost mobility in his left leg and his gait is gone.
