Please help Joshua get a new Track Chair

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Theresa Storts and I recently had a honor of meeting a very special young man, Joshua McKinney earlier in 2021. In August, I was able to raise a total of $1360 through my Facebook birthday fundraiser with the help from friends and family. While that helped towards a down payment for Joshua's new track chair, I realize this is bigger than us.  Joshua needs more to help with the entire purchase. This can't happen without the support of many near and far.

Why am I choosing to do this for Joshua you may be asking, well here is short summary of Joshua's amazing story.

Joshua's story:
Joshua was an avid bowler from the age of 3 until he turned 20, that is until he hurt the bottom part of his 'leg'. From that point, his love for the sport of bowling came to an abrupt end. Even then this did not slow Joshua down! Joshua mows grass, jumps on trampolines, hunts, fishes and works every day just like most others. Why is this so special you may be asking, right?

Joshua was your normal happy, healthy, rambunctious toddler until he was 2 1/2 years old when he contracted an aggressive form of meningitis. It all started when his mother noticed a spot on his arm and within a few short hours, the doctors where delivering the devastating news to his parents. Joshua will need to have his arms and legs removed in order to save his life.

After THE surgery:
Joshua's resiliency kicked into high gear! Through the years, Joshua grew to love bowling (as mentioned above), playing football (yes, I said football), fishing, and hunting. Joshua graduated high school and currently works a full time job.

He was even premiered at Wayne Webb's Bowling by New Channel 4 in Columbus, Ohio for his bowling abilities. See link - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7MxaVy-U6kU&feature=youtu.be and again here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U2YZBVuMAqU&feature=share with Jason Belmonte.

In order to to help Joshua continue to do the many things loves including his sportsmanship lifestyle, Joshua needs a new track chair. Joshua lives in an area adjacent to the Zaleski State Forrest here in Ohio where the terrain is quite rugged, this has placed some lifestyle limitations on Joshua. Having a new Track Chair will allow Joshua keep his independence and help him navigate the rugged mountainous terrain he currently lives in. I will try to post some more pictures and video(s) of Joshua, he will amaze you. His perseverance, and determination keeps me in awe.

Any assistance in getting this Track Chair for Joshua either by DONATION and/or SHARING this link and his story would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Theresa Storts
