Please help Josiah fight Lymphoma!

Josiah & Autumn are not on social media but lots of us know them. Josiah was diagnosed a few weeks ago with B Cell Lymphoma. A few weeks prior to the diagnoses, Josiah, found a swollen lymph node on his neck. After not getting sick, feeling fine & the lymph node was still there he decided to get it checked out.

First Josiah just had a regular check up where they drew blood & all of his blood work came back normal! It’s a panel so they screen for white blood cell counts, etc. So of course that was great news! The family Dr still wanted to refer him out due to the lymph node being so big. He was referred the ENT Dr who specialized in this type of thing where they did a biopsy of his lymph nodes in his neck.

They call him & Autumn in to tell them the news. He has cancer. Lymphoma. They aren’t sure how bad it is but they had a plan to find out. Josiah then had a surgery on his neck where they removed a few larger lymph nodes. They also gave him a PET scan.

We just found out that Josiah’s cancer is LOCALIZED to his neck only!! PRAISE GOD!!! This is a great sign & Dr. Abdul thinks that he’s only in stage 1 maybe 2. Also great sign!!! Dr. Abdul will let us know exactly which lymphoma Josiah has & what stage, once the new pathology results have come back. Dr. Abdul also has a treatment plan for Josiah starting the week after Thanksgiving, which will include chemo & radiation. This will be hard on them both!

I’m posting this because Josiah & Autumn are not on social media! They found out the SAME DAY that he cancer, they are also EXPECTING (yes we’re all stoked) but that’s a lot to go through together at such a young age. Not only that these two sweet souls just bought their first house together! So understandably so, they are worried about bills coming in!

If anyone would like to send $$ to help out with food, gas, the medical bills, etc. Cancer is hard to endure. Sometimes you can’t work. On top of that your spouse being pregnant makes things that much harder!! Please if you see fit, send them something just to help out! I know even words of encouragement could help them right now.

These two mean so much to us & I know they do to you all too. It takes a village so let’s pull together to help them out ❤️
