Please Help Kaili Recover From Catastrophic Wreck

Hi!

 

My name is Amy Whitaker and I'm reaching out to, begging really, for anyone who will read this to help raise funds for medical bills and other expenses for my beautiful friend Kaili Evans. I met Kaili a few years back when she moved down from Indiana and was seeking a barn to board at. With her infectious smile and bubbly personality, I immediately knew she was a once in a lifetime person that would bring joy to anyone that meets her! That's not changed.

 

Kaili grew up in Indiana and has always been an avid horse woman. Mostly focusing on barrel racing, she also dabbles in Liberty as well as riding barn horses and colt starting. Kailis entire life revolves around horses and kids. Not only is Kaili my friend but she's also been working here for quite some time. She's taught MANY kids to ride over the years as our riding instructor and takes wonderful care of our horses when not teaching! Kailis job is quite physical but sadly she won't be able to enjoy the horses, kids or come back to work for a while.

 

Kaili went home to visit family for the holidays and on December 28th, my amazing friend was involved in a horrific accident. She was a passanger in a car that hit a patch of ice then collided with a dump truck. There were two other people in the car, her sweet boyfriend Jt and his mom, Erin. Jt is OK, Erin has some broken bones as well but poor Kaili got the most of it.

 

Kaili has already had 3 surgeries totalling more than 15 hours and is full of hardware to repair her pelvis, hip, femur and back. Needless to say she has an extensive road to recovery and several more days in the hospital before she can even begin rehab.

 

This catastrophic accident will keep Kaili laid up for a long long time. Drs think it'll be 3 to 6 months before she's on her feet and 12 to 18 months before she has fully recovered.

 

Her entire focus for the time being needs to be healing, getting stronger and that's going to require a lot. Rehab, home nurses, Dr appts are just the tip of the iceberg. With her income being comeptely lost and such a long road to recovery could you spare just a few bucks (or more of course)?
