Please help Kasey in her fight against Cancer

On July 20, while dancing with her husband, Mike, in the kitchen, my sister, Kasey (38) found a rock hard lump in her left breast - golf ball in size and painful to the touch. Fast forward 7 weeks to the beginning of September. Kasey has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Negative Metatastic Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma Grade 3. My sister, her husband, and our familys world has been flipped upside down. We are beside ourselves, and trying to wrap our head around all of this.

Since the diagnosis, and finding out how aggressive the cancer is spreading, Kasey has begun her journey with frequent doctors visits and testing to find out the best course of action to fight her cancer. We know she has multiple surgeries ahead of her, and will be out of work; from a job she loves very much - as an Executive Chef at Bayhealth Medical Center. Mike will also miss a lot of work from the Milford Police Department - traveling to and from Kasey’s appointments and procedures, all while taking a care of their 3 little boys. All of the time away from work will most likely be unpaid.

We are asking for help to support Kasey and Mike, as the bills are already starting to mount up. I need your help to alleviate the financial stress upon their family. This will allow the Demetrakis family to focus on the fight ahead of them, not the added stress of not being able to pay the mortgage to keep a roof over their heads, or nourishment for their 3 boys. Between monthly house bills, childcare, and groceries, they will truly need assistance to make ends meet.

Kasey has a very strong spirit and is a fighter!! She is determined to beat this cancer!!! Her three little boys; Dominic (8), Parker (5) and Bennett (3), are counting on her to kick cancers ass. They need her for many years to come.

All donations will ensure she gets the best possible treatment, along with lessening the financial burden on her and the family. This will be a hard battle, but we know Kasey will beat this!!! We are hopeful and full of positive vibes and prayer!
