Please Help Kathy Kramer Fight Cervical Cancer

We are asking for your help for our amazing and courageous friend Kathy who has been fighting cancer for over seven months now. Kathy was initially diagnosed with ovarian cancer in February of 2023. Later testing revealed that although the cancer was found in her ovaries, it actually originated in her cervix. Kathy’s diagnosis was changed to stage 4 cervical cancer, or advanced cervical cancer. Kathy was in between jobs when she got her diagnosis, and due to the rigorous treatment required, she was unable to look for a new job.

Since her diagnosis in February, Kathy has gone through 9 rounds of chemo. The chemo helped to shrink her cancer from 8 visible tumors on her initial scan down to 2 visible tumors. Next steps include maintenance treatments of immunotherapy, another scan, and possible surgery. Due to side effects from chemo (muscle weakness, neuropathy, etc.) and upcoming treatment plans, Kathy will be unable to work for the foreseeable future.

Previous donations to Kathy’s GoFundMe were used to pay day-to-day living expenses for Kathy and her 4 children. The new funds will continue to support Kathy and her family as she goes through upcoming cancer treatment and potential surgery.
