Please Help Katie and her Kids

Hi everyone. My name is Lori Covington, and I am fundraising to help my friend Katie. For her sake, I won't go into details, although some close friends might know just what she's been dealing with. My friend is a single mother of 4 who is struggling right now. She left an abusive marriage and is trying to get her divorce finalized. However, her husband is continuing to harass and threaten her and the kids. Most recently he stopped paying child support, even though it is court-ordered. She needs an attorney to get her through this, and I am fundraising to help her get one.

As many of you know, single moms are close to my heart, having been one for over 10 years. Although it seems a lifetime ago, I still remember how hard it was, and how isolated I felt. I’m hoping that, with your help, this sweet momma can get this divorce finalized and have a fresh start for herself and her kids.
